I had the pleasure of being invited back as a guest on the SLP Corner podcast, and the new episode is out now! In this conversation we discuss different approaches to literacy instruction, specifically print-to-speech and speech-to-print, and then have a brief discussion about early literacy and teaching beginning readers.

Last time I was on the SLP Corner Podcast in June 2023, we talked about my personal journey learning how to read, the roles of Speech-Language Pathologists in literacy, structured literacy, and literacy activity ideas for 5 components of literacy. If you’re interested in that, go back in the archives and listen to 119. SLP CORNER: The Science of Reading, Roles of SLP in Literacy Instruction, Structured Literacy Instruction & Literacy Activity Ideas.

If you know me, you know that I am so passionate about literacy and enjoy every opportunity to share my knowledge with others! I hope you listen to this latest podcast interview and learn something new about literacy.
